Thanks so much! My main goal when writing this fic was making it realistic, because at this point, no matter how much they sparkle, Caroline just won't fall for what Klaus is selling. So I tried to set up a scenario where it could happen somewhere down the line.

I love this! What a perfect ending, with hope for more. I do see Caroline wanting her same life -- but not forever :). Love your Klaus characterization too, he's so tough and vulnerable and weirdly likable, like on the show.

Thanks! I really like the idea of Caroline/Klaus, because hello, sparks!, but they don't work as an actual couple as of yet. So I wanted to build on that, develop how Caroline could fall for Klaus, but not quite yet.
