Free of the house!!!!

As of July 3, 2008 11:00 AM we are free of the house in Grand Rapids.
We are now both living near D.C. If you need/want the address comment and I will send it to you.

Now our future restarts!!!!!

My defense

On Friday the 27th I had to stay in town till evening to show the appraiser where to find the attic. You know that walk in storage room at the top of the stairs. The underwriter was being all weird and freaking because we didn't have attic access through a hole in the ceiling.

On Monday the 30th I got a call that closing was scheduled for July 3. After Thursday I had 3 days to be out. July 2nd we lost power till Friday afternoon. I cleared out and spent a few days in Bay City without internet. I only got back on the internet Friday the 11th.

Hope that my defense is acceptable.

Wow. Had to try to get out during the power outage? Fun fun. Except for that part where it isn't. x_x

The only house I remember having an attic when I grew up had access to it via a door in our stairwell, not a hole in the ceiling. The enitre hole in the ceiling thing is weird to me. Granted, I haven't lived in a house with an attic since I was 7, so hey.
