I agree with you about "Chop Me Up." I really just want to hear him. It sounds like maybe you were a little frightened by his foray into hip hop, LOL.
And I also enjoyed what you said about "Losing My Way" and how emotional his vocals are. But yeah, the last paragraph in summary, that's wonderful, about how it's just him now. It's who he is, especially and mostly the second half of the album. Being real and insecure at times, realizing how quickly and badly someone can fall.

The shit that's on the radio isn't real hip hop at least to me. It doesn't even sound good. Music should sound GOOD, it's shouldn't be a mishmash of sirens, chicken sounds and whistles. That's just bullshit. Chop Me Up is kind of sloppy in that sense. It can be fun to listen to, but it's a bit too novelty hip hop for me.
