Frustrated and scared, I find myself going under the knife again. I've been asking MAPs pain clinic for another MRI for the last 5 months, and they kept telling me that it was unnecessary and that I'd need to just learn to deal with my pain better - and that the Nucleoplasty should have worked just fine ( Read more... )

I'm so sorry that you have to have surgery again, but I'm glad that you're having surgery again because it means there's more hope for a healthier happier you in the not-so-distant future.

We don't see each other much, but I care about you a lot. When's the actual day of surgery?

If you and Cinnamon get together you should call me maybe? I'd love to join you.

Well, we aren't really "meeting up." I have to be at Methodist hospital at 7am Friday (surgery 930, 12 noon out of recovery room), and Cinnamon doesn't arrive until Friday night I think. She said she would try to stop by when she got into town, since I'll be on Morphine and laying there in a stupor.

I only hope I can ride my motorcycle next year, since I tried to ride it this year after buying it, and found out the hard way that I have lost my coordination :-\
