I just got back from my painting crit. So I had to have blood drawn yesterday to test the levels of some liver thing again. Today the health center called and said I had a low blood sugar. Then the nurse told me that I should snack more and make sure to have fat and protein. "Okay," said I, "I think I can handle the snacking thing."

Champagne night was one year ago tonight.
The ground is blanketed in beautiful, fresh snow, just like it was then.

It amazes me to consider where I was a year ago. This is so different.

I was just painting and began to wonder how I could do anything with my life other than paint. It's like the universe is in harmony.

Seeing the world through the eyes of an artist is amazingly rewarding. Everything is so much more beautiful and perfect in its own way.
