Finally got around to getting the new version of Firefox.

NO RANDOM LOCKUPS! YAY!

I'm still using the ancient version, called Firebird. It works good, and I don't have problems with certain java thingies on Amazon.com
I'm not sure what the problem is, but Firefox doesn't seem to handle all of the stuff on Amazon.com as well.
As soon as it does, I'll upgrade--I love that plugin that gives you the weather on your browser at all times. :)

We tried firefox but it locked up with Yahoo games. Whenever the Java thing would try to open, total freeze...Grrrrrr

Did you download and install the Java plugin? You have to do that, with Firefox, or Java won't work at all.

I know. Yes We did, it's that plug in that locks up :-(

I never DLed a plugin. No problems with Java on the new version. Too bad it didn't work for you guys. Firefox is an awesome browser.
