It's done. And it only took me 14 hours. I couldn't stop reading, and now, of course!, I'm pretty sad that it's over... Damn, no more HP from now on, that sucks. Naturally, I have many things to say. Yes, that means HUGE SPOILERS, for the entire book. Don't read if you haven't finished it yet, OK?!

I didn't read your post, because my copy was only dispatched from the UK on Friday. Hopefully it will arrive before the end of next week.

I must truly be a lame HP fan, I've not even seen the film yet. I didn't know anyone else around here who'd see it with me. And a 30 year old guy going to what is basically considered a children's film... I'll just have to wait for the DVD. I'll probably have some sort of HD player buy the time it is released, so that will be a plus.

Yeah, they started spoiling it on TV and in newspapers now... Not safe at all. Did you order the kids or the adult version? I got the adult version, the cover for the kids' one is kinda... horrific. :D

All I can say is that I thank the Gods for AC. I'm pretty sure I'd die without it...

Yeah, while I understand why it had to be there, to send the clear NO, NO MORE HP BOOKS EVER!!!11 message, I feel it was poorly done. Everybody marries everybody, and they have a ton of kids with stupid names and they live happily ever after? Ummm... no.

And then there's all these people that we've cared about for seven books, and we only hear about the main three! I wanted to know what was going to happen to everyone else.

Yeah, I was particularly interested in poor George and how he managed, earless and without Fred... But hey, Harry and Ginny had 3 kids with memorial names, the rest is just not important! :D

oh dude, dude, yes to everything! the h/d was ... ok, more subdued than i thought it would be (especially after hbp, y'know?) but it was there (among all the other ships, beginning with dumbledore/harry :)) and dumbledore/grindelwald and just wow. all those other ships) and i have to admit i squeed my ass off at the few harry/draco scenes. man, i love them so much :X

i was kinda disappointed by the 19 years later part too. i kept hoping harry/ginny won't be as definite but. :( but oh snape. and oh dumbledore! it was so much awesomeness i just, i just. i wanna read everyone's thoughts about it and <3

hbp next year and dh by 2010, they say. which sounds awfully far. like, sf-far, y'know? :-s
