Fraaaaaaak! Seeing the forecast is one thing, seeing the actual real feel obscenely displayed like that is something else. O_o

*wishes both of us luck*

(I'm... lucky to have the weekly meeting until 8pm? :D)

Haha, yeah, really lucky! ;) But hey, at least when you get outside it won't say 55 anymore, just 47 or something like that... ;) Is it September yet?

I hate hot weather! :/

Stephen Fry is fantastic! Hope you enjoy all the audio books.

Me too! I used to be OK with it, but this is too much, even for me...

Thank you, I know I will! :) Are you done with book 7? :)

I don't blame you, 55 degrees is too hot for anyone! I think I'd melt!

I haven't even read the first book yet! I'm about the only person in the world who hasn't read HP! I have seen the first three movies though, and I think I'll go and buy myself a copy of the first book and have a read :)

OMG, you definitely should! You won't regret it. The first three are clearly books for kids, but after that things get way better. :)

+55°C?! That's too hot even for me! o_O

Yes, it was in direct sun and near traffic, but still, insane... :)

That has to be 55 because of the direct sun, right? Because an air-temp of 131 F would kill everything. Even so, my ill-placed thermometer doesn't top 110-115 when it is being struck directly.

I feel for you. My rule is to never complain about the heat, because of how much I hate the cold. But I think I'd be making an exception right about now.

Drink lots of fluids, with dissolved minerals (plain water is no good when you're sweating out all your salts).

Let me know when it gets down to 16 C, I'll come to see you then.

Of course, direct sun and near traffic. But, sadly, we do not live in a nice, breezy, shadowy forest... ;) We have to walk in direct sun and near traffic every single day. And the air burns the lungs. It's crazy and I hate it and I want it to be cold, very very cold. NOW!

So no visit in September then? :p

I wouldn't completely rule out a visit around the end-ish of September--just be sure to have plenty of ice on hand.

Thank goodness there's lots and lots of Jensen stuff within my journal to add to your collection of your new loveinterest. :) I do hope Wentworth is still on though.

Wentworth is and always will be still on! :) As for Jensen... you can bet I already checked your LJ for all available pictures! :D Keep them coming, OK? Thanks! :)

That's comforting to know. :) And you know me, I'll keep them coming for sure.
