Had a wonderful time at fangirl night ;) Even though we didn't get a chance to watch much anime, it was fun just to hang out and do some fun easter stuff. We did watch Oofuri 12.5, plus Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi OVA prequel, which was a little "eh..". I've read the manga, and so i wanted to know how the actual TV series went. I was very happy to find

!!! episode one is out! I'll have to watch it. I thought the OVA was a great introduction lol. It really was a nice shocker that woke me up :p. I enjoy the present day Ritsu much more as well. The flashbacks were kind of "dramatic/gag me with a spoon" for me. Perhaps they made the past scenes and present day scenes contrast so much in order to convey the change and differences. I suppose memories (esp from HS days) are often more dramatic as well. Guess we'll see how this series shapes up. :)

It's kind of a shame when there are glaring differences in anime and manga, but then again, I've never seen an anime that doesn't have a glaring omission/change from the manga. Mathieu is still pissed about the end of Sailor Moon.

Good luck with the fic! Rabid bunnies will eventually start to move into other areas in life, so it's best to take care of them early. The last thing you need is to start ficcing in the middle of a report! :-)
