So sorry you're having problems with your in-laws. we're the opposite. We're getting upset with them b/c they NEVER call us. It's like they're afraid to call us. We call and talk to them, but it takes serious coercing on our part to get them to pick up the phone and dial us.

Oh I would beg to be in your shoes. My in-laws call all the time, any hours of the day, even in the middle of 'extracurricular activities' and then complain when we don't answer the phone. ARGH!

That sucks, I really hope I dont have that situation when I get married, but I fear it may be that way.

Maybe not as bad, but negative nonetheless!

Just be sure to stand your ground from the day of the wedding on and make sure that Jarrod is on the same page. Thankfully, Tracy knows they are crazy but he's lived with it for so long that he can ignore them. I can't.

And for the sake of your own marriage, do not live anywhere near inlaws, good or bad. Get out on your own and make a life for yourselves. Sometimes I feel like I'm 10 again with someone watching my every move.

I'm trying my best not to let it affect my marriage, but it does in small ways. He knows when I get mad at them and even though he does too, they are still his family. It's a hard situation and sometimes it's best just to bit your tongue.

Ok sorry, I just ranted a lot. But anyway, good luck and I hope you are surprised by your future inlaws.
