Hey, I want to comment on Ishikawa's weather. Yesterday morning at ~8am it was sunny and raining. There was also severe thunder and lightening that made the windows shake. I find the thunderstorms in winter unexpected and slightly unnerving. Anyone else?

Not something I normally think about, but yeah I think I would be a bit startled by a thunderstorm in the winter.

that was actually the second night in a row, too (or at least it was up in the Noto) I had to leave the warm comfort of the electric blanket to turn the damn computer off. Grrrr.
