Include a personal story and a couple of pretty graphs and you should be good. Everyone loves graphs.

The lovely thing about math is about 5-6 pages of my thesis are tables and graphs, along with formulas and the data! Lucky math majors huh:P

I had to do that for my last paper, except it was 4 or so pages of equations. I even had a few pretty pictures. It was grand because I way spaced everything out so it extended the paper. You would have be impressed.
