So, I guess it's time for me to give a little update about what's currently going on in my life. 
In seven months, I will be moving to New York City. To go to college. COLLEGE.
Yikes.
I got accepted to the School of Visual Arts. An amazing art school. In fucking New York City. !!!omfg
I will get my BFA in Illustration. I will live in a dorm. I'm not

The roommate situation is alwayw a bit strange. There is really no privacy, but it's a good way to make friends with someone you don't know. Just try to be open and honest with the person and be nice. Don't piss off someone who knows where you sleep at night.

And you better go see me when I go on tour. I'll be doing poetry performances in NYC over the summer!

Yeah, the privacy thing is a bit of an issue. I need my own space. The cool thing about SVA is they have some dorm rooms that are like apartments, so you share it with 2 or 3 other people, but you get your own bedroom. That would be nice.
And of course I'll go see your rad poetry slams!

roommates in dorms are always a good thing to start out with, kind of teaches you how to live with someone. just be direct with them and talk to them and all should be fine. but singles are awesome once you have been in the dorms.
