I used to have a big problem with impulse shopping. I would get a paycheck, and go straight to the mall. Wasn't uncommon for me to spend $300-$400 on a spree. Of course, once I started to have bills and crap, I needed to work something out. I try not to go shopping if I don't need something. If I want something, I think about it for a few weeks, and if I still want it after all that time, it must be worth purchasing.
I broke this rule and in a month bought a new desk chair, a television, and a bunch of PC games. Now I am poor. =(
On the bright side, I am finally starting to budget my food money because of this, I managed to get by last week only spending $6 on food, this week I am up to $6 or $7 already, but that is a huge savings when I was spending no less than $15 a day on food, eating out for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Thank you for the lasanga, mommy.
