Dont' ask, don't tell!

Can't say that I know of any kid's books that have those sort of speakers... It's been so long since I've read kid's books:)

I'm still slated to head up to Chi-town this weekend; Vic wants to get together and do something saturday evening... you around this weekend at all?

It's been largely derided by my graduating class (because a professor at my college wrote it), but "Flutie" by Diane Glancy is the story of a Native American woman who does not speak. I personally don't remember hating it, though I remember lots of people who did, so consider this a recommendation with some reservations.

Actually, though I recall the language being rather simple, I'm still not sure I'd qualify this as a "kid's book" in any real sense. Nevermind.
