So to get everyone up to date Ferne and I went to a pub in Battle for dinner on Saturday night, lovely meal nice evening until we come out and find a car parked almost at a right angle to mine with his bumper under my wheel arch.  Surprisingly considering it was less than a month ago that i got that side resprayed we go back into the pub and ask

Was he just-passed-his-test young? He probs went home and got a telling off for admitting it was his fault straight out. (Not that he could deny it really if he was halfway into yours) Are you supposed to take photos then? Who carries a camera with a flash on it at all times on the off chance someone hits them...?

No he was probably late 20's. I know about the camera thing thats what i said. Im too bloody trusting thats my problem.

Anyhoo I took it over to the garage that they wanted me to get the quote from and surprise surprise its exactly the same as my garage so i phoned and left a message for him yesterday saying i have a written quote which i am happy to send him or he can phone them himself as they said they would talk him through what needs to be done. Obviously he hasnt phoned back, Im going to report it to the police today so i can get a crime number which will hopefully show them im not going to walk away.

They're wrong about you not contacting the police as well - you only do that if someone is hurt don't you?
