Live Report-Ayabie- Knitting Factory June 15, 2008

Now that I have recovered from my city adventures, I can share my live experience.  I tried last night but kept it all in a word document because I was just plain exhausted.

Where do I begin here?  Everything was so great.  I have to first state that it is the best show I've ever been to.  Everyone was just lovely, my faith in J rock fandom is

It was tons of fun. It was a breath of fresh air to actually be amongst a bunch of fans who just wanted to have a good time. I heard of like a couple incidents where people were being stupid, but it was so small compared to drama from other fandoms. Such a fun band, and such fun fans. I waited three years to see them play, and it was so worth it. Tons better than the Diru shows I went to.

I'll post more on my trip in the next few days. I'll probably have to do it in parts because I have tons of pictures to upload and post. Too bad I didn't have my camera with me when I walked by the famed Naked Cowboy. Maybe next time I go to NYC, whenever that is.

i completely agree about the way the fans acted
nice and calm, it was wonderful
not too much fangirling either (thank goodness-well the only part that i got annoyed at was every fangirl would scream bloody murder whenever a stagehand came on)
haha omg Aoi was too much, all those smiles, i swear i thought i was gonna get a cavity from all that sugar-spirit he was spewing
aw man i'm sorry you weren't able to give them your gifts!
we were allowed though, i asked the lady there who gave everyone directions and she said yes
i had like a bazillion bead necklaces at home, so i gave them some of those :]

Aoi was so sweet! He's tied right now with Intetsu as my favorite ^_^
I did want to ask but didn't get a chance.
I'm hoping they come back next year and do another signing session, I made them each a beaded bracelet. I'm thinking they will since they've been going to Europe on a yearly basis. Until then I'll just put the bracelets away for safe keeping.

i just about died when intetsu introduced himself at the show XD
oh really? if you dont mind me asking, but what kind of beads did ya use?
yeah i think they'll most likely come back next year also since they have such positive feedback here :]
uh i have a video of ayabie introducing themselves at the show, would you like to see it?

I would love to see it, their introductions were adorable ^_^

I used seed beads and made the bracelets on a bead loom.

Sorry for the delayed and random intrusion, but I was wondering, do you happen to know the setlist for this concert or perhaps where I may be able to get it? I've been looking everywhere since that night for it ._.

Hey!! I am late on commenting. Sorry. >< I was going through the Ayabie community looking for icons and I found this entry. I hope you don't mind me reading it. It's just that...I went to the NYC concert too! I wanted to read what someone else thought about this concert. ^^ It was such an unforgettable night. The best! <3 I actually remember hearing that screaming that you mentioned. I think the girl was drunk. >< I was second row too!!! Right in front of Aoi but a bit closer to Takehito!! Luckily, a girl who was front row left and then got a spot in front of Takepi. XD I remember seeing Takehito, Kenzo, and their manager walking past the line of fans. I remember screaming "Takehito!" (b/c he's my favorite member XD) and he waved! =O I was shocked. ^^ Too bad you couldn't give your gifts to Ayabie. >< Hopefully soon. ^^ You are so lucky that you got Intetsu's pick. I was also so close to getting Aoi's towel. I think I remember touching part of the towel as it flew right past me. >< The only thing I got was Takehito and Kenzo's water

It was such a great live, I want Ayabie to do another US tour next year. I'm thinking they may, seeing how they've toured Europe annually.

I'm not sure if I'll be seeing Diru, I'd have to find a ride since I live in the middle of nowhere and so making trips gets expensive.

i went to this live too!!!! It brings back such fond memories!!! I hope they come back too!
ur so lucky u got the pick! i was so close in getting aoi's towel...i did mangae to touch it with the tip of my finger......the towel had so much energy haha! so u were near takehito....i was around there too! i first started off in front of Aoi tho but then i slowly moved towards takehito unconsciously xD i only had one person in front of me but wow i still could of touched takehito's legs.....i should've done that!!!

Well, getting the pick was half luck and half bringing along my light-up bracelet. Better than just feeling around and possibly getting my fingers stepped on (that would have really hurt). I should probably bring it to more lives XD
It was amazing being up so close, especially after waiting three years to see Ayabie.
