Defeat: I got some bad news over the phone today. Nobody's dead, but I'm deeply disappointed about something I hope to be able to discuss on the journal soon.

You can largely ignore my last post. It was whiny and emo. I didn't have a good weekend, but I don't think it's indicative of my life at the moment.

. . . I need money.

Progress is slow, but it's happening. (Right?)

I'm angry.

I'm broke.

I'm surrounded by bad options and no-win situations.

I don't want to bargain. I don't want to settle. I just want to be happy.
