More updates, now that we have less than a year to go! Time's flying so fast!

The Ceremony and Reception:
5:00 PM, First Presbyterian Church, Asheboro, NC...wish I had a picture of the sanctuary...
Reception to follow at Pinewood Country Club! This place is gorgeous...wish I had some pictures. Next time I go out there to talk to the manager, maybe I will get some photos! We moved the reception out here because we were worried about spacing issues...we were dangerously close to the seating capacity. And by the time you add the dj equipment and the dance floor, super crowded! Pinewood is a much better choice.
Bride's Attire:

The dress on me: (Ignore how p.o.'ed I look- I didn't know she was taking the pic!)
Wedding Hair: Can't decide, one of these
Groom's and Groomsmen's Attire: (They all hate bowties, and I'm not terribly fond of them myself. But this classic black tux is wonderful for our evening wedding)
Bridesmaids, MOH, and Jr. Maid: I loved these dresses because they can definitely wear them again...And the cost is great. I love them so much I may order myself one!
for the maids and MOH: My little cousin as the jr:

Photographer:
We are going with
Shamrock Studio Inc. in Randleman. Their prices are wonderful and their work is AMAZING!! Take a look at their site.
Reception:
6:30 PM
Pinewood Country Club. We have use of the dining room, the hearth room, and the patio. It's so beautiful in there. Can't wait til I get a picture!
Catering:
2 carving stations, a pasta bar, and assorted veggies. My wonderful cake for dessert!
Music:
Music will be provided by Mr. DJ, aka Gary Hunt. The first dances will be sung by a long time friend, with our first dance played on acoustic guitar by a friend from church and accompanied by the best man on the sax! It's gonna sound wonderful!
First Dance: "I'll Be" by Edwin McCain (accompanied by saxophone, played on an acoustic guitar, and a friend of ours will do the vocals)
Father/Daugher: "In My Daughter's Eyes" by Martina McBride (vocals by the same friend)
Mother/Son: "Oh How the Years Go By" by Vanessa Williams
Last Dance: "God Blessed the Broken Road" by Rascal Flats
Bakery:
We are using Kim Newnam in Randleman (a friend of my aunt), and our cake will look a little like this: We'll have real flowers on it.
Transportation:
A friend of mine has a white Camaro convertible and has offered to be our driver, top down. Think "beauty queen in a parade, sitting on the back on the car". Silly, yet not too overdone. The perfect amount of Hollywood for a small town wedding.
Honeymoon:
We are strongly considering Sanibel Island, a resort island off the cost of Ft. Myers, FL. It's gorgeous and I can't wait! We are likely going for a week.
