a few days ago i heard a ruckus out on the green belt behind the house. down a ways, i saw some large ravens taking advantage of the neverending rain and having a bath. then a giant big dog came romping up and flight ensued.

Went for a walk tonight to the local pond. usually its just full of birds and people watching them. due to the mosquitoes, there was absolutely noone out and i only saw 2 batches of babies. i'll try again in a couple weeks and at a better hour, and hopefully all the birds will be out next time.
