See this is why I like to live far away from people. Hell, I get to listen to crap because I move my cattle from one side of the farm to the other. It so happens that the neighbors with no right of way have started a road thru the middle of the property, and they get held up while the cows are crossing the road at their sweet slow time. Then they whine about running over a big ole nasty cow flop that smells like what it is. Shit. Oh well, just go off a few times, and the might leave you alone. Specially if they think you are insane.

On a side note, atleast they did not slash your tires, bust your windows, key your vehicles, or put something in the gas. I recommend a locking gas cap before you park there again. Anyway, I do wish you the best of luck, you might need it. Before I forget, I hope this is not in West Virginia. If it is, you and your family might be in for a hundred year war.

Laurelhurst? as in Laurelhurst Park in portland? that is a nice neighborhood.

if i was in your situation...i would just do nothing. they cant tow your car if its a public street.

Yeah, I live right by the park and it's super nice...it's just the people that live here that need some work.

I did nothing directly, but mentioned it to my roommate/landlord and she stormed across the street to give them the WHATFOR. She said she's gotten this kind of crap before from people in the neighborhood who look down upon people who aren't like them (single family homes). Single college grads who go to bed at 9:30pm and hold steady jobs? NOT IN MY BACKYARD!
