A broken spirit

Psalm 51:17 says, "the sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise." I've been reading through the Psalms and this verse just really jumped out at me. Since being here in Africa, God has broken my heart time and time again. It's a beautiful experience because it brings you a step closer to God
