its taken me 7 weeks to finally be able to write about whats been going on. these past 7 weeks have honestly been the hardest weeks of my life i think, and before this i thought i had gone through really hard times. sigh. heres goes

Writing more often will definitely help you recover faster. There is research that demonstrates how expressive writing is beneficial both physically and mentally. I have a link for you...if you're ever interested in reading about the research

there is absolutely nothing wrong with needing help to get past this. it's called grief counseling. it's short term and helps you greive and move on.

but greiving is something that never leaves you. it is a process that will be constant your whole life. for every loved one that you loose. its just gets different over time. and everyone greives in different ways. taking more than 2 months is more than fine. it is actually perfectly reasonable. when you have a major problem is like in the movie ps. i love you. when she could not function at all or leave her apartment b/c of the grief of loosing her husband. that is the only way i would ever call grieving for a loved one unhealthy....when it completely affects you from being able to function...such as showering.

and i study this stuff remember?

your perfectly fine with how you are dealing with it. though if you want to seek help. I'd encourage it :) there is no harm in asking for a helping hand along the way.

ive been checking out the LJ scene lately and saw this...

i wish i was there when you found out just so i could have been there for you.
