Seems like half the Saturday shows on BBCA are hit or miss with me, but I tend to stick to the Wednesday ones like White Chapel and this one, White Heat. I finally like Sam Claflin in this. It makes me wonder what they did wrong to get his performance in Pirates that was just so bland. I know accept his playing the Prince in Snow White and the Huntsman although she still better end up with Thor! err, Huntsman.
Heh! "Spot Norrington" adds a whole wonderful dimension, doesn't it?
Fast forward count: one, I managed to survive not sitting through Karen singing in her pants.
That was... embarrassing. Ivy can be so damn sexy with just a lift of an eyebrow, where Karen could hump her chair all night and not even come close. Meowwwwww.
Ivy's song: Is she amazing or what?? (And WTF is wrong with Derek that he storms out of the room?) I am totally going to see Hilty on stage some day. And this show was supposed to "introduce" me to McPhee. Ooops!
Tom and the piano! He's so cool. ♥
Ellis needs a handlebar mustache to twirl in his evilness. He needs go traditionally evil and tie someone to the railroad tracks. Preferably Leo.
This is fun. Thank you! I look forward to your next one.

Yes, it did smack a bit of trying too hard. Which is a shame as Karen is lovely, but that could probably be explored in a less cringeworthy way.

Artistic vision or remembering he left the iron on? You decide... Yeah, if they ever decide to actually make the musical for real, I'd go and see it.

Ha. He gets away with a lot, doesn't he. :-D
John's so lovely! If a teeny bit boring. *g* And Julia is so hot when she's angry.

Isn't she though, magnificent really was what I was thinking there - closely followed by how much I want hair like that. I'm so shallow :(

I guess you're watching an episode a week? Can't wait to see what you think of the rest. :-)

Yes, it's being shown here on saturdays - so I'm keeping it as my 'cheer up Monday' fix.

Yes, I think I definitely have a thing for the calm, laconic guys but then, I also love Jack Davenport when he's screaming and ranting...

Yeah, that works :)
Also, totally OT, don't know if you've seen this - but there's a new series of Bedlam coming in June.

You know, I actually had to look up who he was, and I thought Pirates was ok... Bland indeed.
The first series of Whitechapel was great!
