1. I love my Grandma and my Grandma's house. Just about every happy childhood memory has happened there.

Today I realized what it means to be an upper classmen. That is- wander around aimlessly, know enough people to find a spot where you can be comfortable, and basically walk around the school talking to teachers and kids until you find something to do. I ran through the sprinlker, I ate cherrie tomatoes. I wore a cotton flowly skirt and walked barefoot. Tonight I will sleep with nothing but a screen window between the stars and me. Good night, summer sky.

Tonight we went out to dinner with Mrs. Peterson and reminisced. I couldn't think of a better way to end my summer.

We had a tea party this afternoon in honor of Grandma's birthday. It was beautiful September late-summer weather. The table was set under the big tree complete with linens, china tea set, good silver, and roses. Today's Alex's Lemonade Stand for Pediatric Cancer was AMAZING! We had overwhelming support from this little beach community. Yesterday I handed out flyers to people in the neighborhood, and even then people were excited to help out this cause.We had near perfect beach weather today. There will be an ALEX'S LEMONADE STAND FOR PEDIATRIC CANCER at the ELizabeth-Carter Beach in Point this Saturday, 11-5. I think everyone knows about this already, but spread the word!

Yesterday was actually a good day. I was 15 minutes late to school (what else is new) but eventually found a group of students trying to figure out what we were supposed to be doing.
