i had to write a short story for english,  and i ended up really liking it.  so i'm gonna post it and i'd really appreciate any opinions you have on it, good or bad.  thanks all!

i will read it more carefully later, but it seems good.
although you did kinda switch from present tense to past tense halfway through.... lol
