Why are you calling me ignorant? People think that every time somebody questions the Bible, they're a heretic with no love or belief in Christ. Well, here's some news for you...I DO BELIEVE IN CHRIST!!!!!!!!!!

In case you missed that...I BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST!!!!!!!!!

I BELIEVE HE DIED FOR OUR SINS!!! I NEVER SAID THAT HE DIDN'T!!!

I'M NOT SAYING I DON'T BELIEVE THAT JESUS WAS GOD'S ONE AND ONLY SON, AND THAT GOD LOVES US ENOUGH TO SEND HIS SON TO DIE FOR US!!!!

Drew ... you make sense but how can you sit here and say that the bible could of been changed my the Roman Catholic Church when it clear states that he did die for our sins and that he is Gods one and only begotten son. i mean your contradicting your self. if i go on what you say , the Roman Catholic church could of put that in there, you never know. and yeah MAYBE some of the verses mite of been lost in the translation but for the most part it is there and all the differnet bibles that have been translated into many languages, they say the same thing, in teen bibles they wrote it in a way that we can understand but it still means the same thing. and when you posted that about christ and then got on here and reply to Becca's comment with " PEOPLE THAT QUESTION THE BIBLE ARE HERETIC ". well sweet you just question the bible. when you posted your post

Am I completely insane or is everyone misunderstanding me?

I never said that people who question the Bible are heretics, if you read my post I said "People think that every time somebody questions the Bible, they're a heretic with no love of belief in Christ."

As you can see, I'm not saying that people who question the Bible are heretics, I'm saying that they're human. It's human nature to question things, it's the only reason we've gotten as far as we have.

And also, no the Church didn't have enough power to just "add" Jesus to the Bible, because there were actual records that weren't kept in the Church's zone of power that proved that he lived.
