Oh, She hadn’t really talked to her after that, and he hadn’t tried to discourage silence between either.
She hadn't really talked to her? <-- I'm guessing the latter one should be HIM?
Few minutes later she’d told him to wrap his arm around her and proceeded to fall asleep against him.
Awww. I find it utterly fascinating, and interesting, the way he can be bossy but also submissive at the same time. And all the while he *lets* her throw all that crap at him, it really does feel like he'd still be the one in charge. It's complicated and I love it.
The difference between him and the weak boy was so fundamental that just implying he had anything to do with his former self felt like an insult.
