It's great that you are getting this opportunity! I'm so happy for you! I'll be over there before the year is through. We'll have to meet up. Actually, I was wanting to ask you something too. I really want to start listening to more Japanese music but I don't really know any of the musicians bands. Any suggestions? I can't wait to go to a concert over there! :D
Whoop! I bet you are so excited!!! I can't believe you are leaving so soon. I am looking forward to Saturday, it seems like forever since we last hung out.
And p.s. I can't wait to show you what I am getting for Valentine's day. tee hee hee.
yay! i'm excited for you! i'll finally have a friend... lol XD
things to pack: deodorant, toothpaste, make-up ... hmm i can't think of anything else. you can find almost anything in yokohama.
if you need help with an apartment let me know.. i think daichi can be your guarantor (i'll ask him about it). interac will probably put you in like a leopalace... which actually wasn't too bad for me because i don't cook. but if you want to cook, forget it. there is NO counter space, the sink is so tiny, and the electric will shut off if you try to use both burners at the same time. rent is cheap though, and it's fine for 1 person i guess... but depends on what you want. what kind of apartment do you want? do you want a pet? big kitchen? seperate bath and toilet? etc.
march 25 is my last day of school. it's coming up so soon!! i probably won't be with you in training... i don't think they make you take it again if you had it last year... but hopefully you'll meet some nice people.
ohhhh...... stickers. bring lots of stickers. go to the dollar store and buy those little books of 500 reward stickers or whatever. buy a lot. trust me. unless you don't want to use them (you don't have to). it's up to you. but you'll be surprised how motivated a tiny little sticker will make those kids. and they'll love you forever.
Interac sent me an email about housing and they gave me several choices. One of LeoPalace of course, but there was another Daito Kentaku which is semi-furnished and is initially more expensive than LeoPalace (since there will be a key-money fee), but in the end I think it's the best option for me. Plus there's none of the sneaky fees involved like that moving-out/clean up fee that Leopalace requires D:
Could you guys find me a semi-furnished apartment? That's pretty much the only concern I have -- having a bed and refrigerator and washing machine lol. If it's easier, I can just let Interac do all the work. Plus I think if they do it, I won't have to pay as much upfront because all the fees will just come from my first pay, it seems.
Oh stickers!! I love stickers, so I'll be sure to buy plenty~! XD
