You may have predicted that Germany would lose to Spain and then I, along with millions, threatened to eat you when it came true, but you were still Germany's psychic 2010 FIFA Octopus, the predictor of 8/8 games and squishy-looking, and for that you will be missed. ;-;

I stumbled on the article a little late and I went "OMG!" but... I wasn't all that sad. 8D Mostly surprised because he's Paul the Octopus and now he's dead after all those death threats. My sis and I wonder if he did just die in his tank of old age or if the news reporters are leaving out the details about the grappling hooks stuck to the side of the building, broken glass, and poisonous darts all around the tank. );

I wonder if someone will actually get to eat him now?
