Hi guys am posting to say I won't be online for an hour between 8 and 9 o'clock. because I'm participating in the earth hour. well all of Chicago is so I'm going to do my part. my city is going to go dark for one hour :) this'll be fun. ttyl8r

yup it's 7:10 pm at the moment so I still have some time LOL but oh man I was looking forward to watching my ManUtd play cause I had recorded it but now I have to wait till after 9pm :D but I can't wait till all the lights are off it'll be fun :D

I can imagine that will be exciting!

Will be interesting to see satellite pics of tonight and see if it makes a difference.

well I did my part, too bad not everyone in neigborhood joined in. I mean how hard is it to just turn off a light for an hour.

anyway I went one step further and turned off everything at home. mom wasn't happy LOL but we were each playing solitaire (the old fashioned way with decks of cards :D) and then I asked her to play a few hands of a game we used to play when I was little and next thing you know the hour was over and we totally didn't notice it LOL

I just wish more people had particpated. but it was fun for me :)

and can't wait for Sat pics too.

thanks, Cristi scored the craziest goal in like 18 minutes :DD awww well get some rest. and yes we started DST weeks ago. so am used to it by now LOL night, babe *hugs*

aww thanks and seriously it was nothing. me and mom played cards by candlelight. it was fun LOL just wish the rest of my neigborhood participated. but oh well I did my part :D

LOL I was watching that before I turned it off. who won?? cause when I stopped watching it was 0-1 to the Revs.

oh oh and am going to watch the ManUtd match now LOL I had recorded it.

I played a card game with my mom by candlelight :D it was fun.

so did you do it??

(yeah I turned everything off. no electricity whatsoever :D)

I turned all the lights and the computer off, and just had one lamp in my room so that I could study (I have a quiz!)

But it seemed like it was a special hour, I kept looking at the clock ;)
Now hopefully people won't use twice as much electricity just b/c it's over :P

and it's so easy and people don't need every light on all the time. lets hope they learn somethign from that hour :)

I knew I was forgetting something. I'm too much distracted thinking about the Louisville and North Carolina game coming on soon. GO CARDS!

But I'm already fully aware of climate change and global warming. I've been for a very long time. Besides, my house is already running on energy efficient lightbulbs and eco-friendly products.

Plus I don't keep my lights on at night. So I have pretty much been participating unofficially in Earth Hour for a very long time already lol! :p

yup :D me too I was like I recorded my ManUtd game but I got home too late. cause afterwork I had to run a couple of errands so by the time I made it home it was 6:45 pm. so I decided to eat and wait till I had to turn everything off.

I know but it was fun to do :) and me and mom played cards LOL

good for you. and same here I don't really like too many things on at the same time.

Well basically Louisville lost the damn game. I swear, refs and just the south period are fucking biased as all hell. Every single Kentucky team that has played in the south has been getting these bullshit calls called on them and hence they lose. I'm not saying that North Carolina isn't a good team, but I can't stand them motherfuckers. But like I said, I'm sick of all these conferences held in certain areas cause I swear the fucking games are fucking rigged.

I don't either. It's not worth having a whole bunch of crap on.
