1. I hope they have finished installing the A/C at work - all the drilling and smashing and hammering was a bit much.

2. I hope Shari's rad can be fixed by tomorrow; I'm already on gossip overload.

3. My mother called last night and apologized for being difficult.

4. Two more days til the weekend.

5. I feel almost rant free this morning. Huh.

thanks! Not to diminish it, but apologizing is part of an overall pattern, so it's not so amazing, really.

Not to sound ungrateful or like I don't appreciate the gesture, but I do wish, it would have a lasting effect.

It's so damn hard to train parents properly. Such an apology time might be a really good time to lay out some ground rules and limitations like: It is off limits to ask me when I'm going to provide you with a grandchild, or Don't even think of asking me about when I'm going to get a 'better job'. Meh.
