Strangely I haven't felt the need to turn on my heat. I wonder why that is...

Well, we haven't fired up the main furnace yet...However, last week I bought a small space heater for under my desk to combat the chill of the frosty mornings...and, I've used it, up until the time The Puppy chewed through the power cord Monday morning.

I went out and got another one today. Must be prepared!

Actually, my favorite thing to do is to run the heater at my feet all the while leaving the window open. The Husband refers to this as my "cold front" and swears that, one day, I'll cook up a little storm right here in my office.

No such activity today, however...Its 90°F right now. But it's supposed to get down to 78°F by Friday. Break out the parkas!

Heh. It was 40 degrees last night and I had the bedroom window wiiiiiiiide open, baby! It was glorious.

This morning I got up feeling like an ice cube. Walking down the hall on the way to avail myself of the porcelain convenience, the readout on the thermostat said the house was at 62 degrees. Woohoo! I love it!

And maybe this will make you feel a bit better.
