I have several pictures in my room, friends I've had, family members I actually like, and random scenery shots from places not many others have seen. The more memories I build, the less and less I really want to ever hurt myself, because I've gotten really down before, granted, I haven't had the worst life, but by comparison, it's not quite peachy

I'm glad you're doing something to help your depression. It doesn't matter whose problems are worse. It's more about how well each person deals with what they're dealt. I don't handle stress well, so I'm usually a mess. :P I'm working on that.
