This thought popped into my head when I was eating a piece of melon and studying organic chemistry (the latter had nothing to do with the thought):  Why don't people make melon-ade?   Or do they?  I'm just curious.  Are more people allergic to melons than most other fruits?  I know I usually feel a slight twinge on my lip if I eat too much melon ( Read more... )

I think I've had watermelon juice once. I don't know why they don't make melon-ade or melon juice. It might be because, although the melons are juicy, they're not quite juicy enough to make a profit by squeezing and selling them.
