'Twas a very good movie, yet there were far too many shots of Al Gore staring out windows looking dramatic. Well, this'll be a good start when he runs for president again.

I haven't seen the movie, but I've read the book, and yeah, it's opionated, but also all true. There's honestly no two ways about it: we need to do something--now--or we're screwed. Though, if you look at our culture, maybe we're already screwed. Man Vs Beast and hot dog eating contests seem to point in this direction.

I know he says he's not going to, but I'm pretty sure our good friend will pop up in the politics game soon enough.

And I agree with everything you said; there is a sickening amount of energy devoted to entertaining ourselves through pretty crude means, and even through some very beautiful and important ways, but not a lot of time gets put into making sure it's all gonna be there in a couple generations. Depressing, but kind of inspiring to do something. Maybe? I don't know.
