where are you going to get your pics done? 'cause 1 week seems awfully short... mine took 2 weeks for the "prittifying" and then I had to go to check to see if they were good and then it was another week and a half...

and there also many other english schools in Japan that you could go into... JET isn't the only option like AEON/Amity http://www.aeonet.com/ ^_^

I'm not sure, they just told us said we had to schedule another appt. for them to let us approve the pictures.

Uggghhh, just READING your description of that book made me cringe. Now I'm not feeling quite so hungry as before, LOL. I know what book I'LL never be reading, now.

*hugs* but slacking is what avalonians do best! I wanted mine done in fall at the very earliest. Mum vetoed that option though.

Yes, it is not a book I'd reccomend to anyone. Not just because of the wonderful scene I described, but also because it is very very dull to read about lithuanians in urban chicago trying to live and learn english.
