Vacation from 30,000 Feet

The trip to DC was long, but the plan of leaving early in the morning turned out to be a good one. We hit traffic somewhere in the middle of Virginia which added about 2 hours to our overall trip time -- 13.5 hours in total. Still, the snow was lovely, and the in-laws had dinner waiting for us, so all was well there

I've never heard of waiting until New Years to open stockings. Did you do it so that you could share it with Outlawcoon's family, or is this a family tradition?

Ah yes...painting. I got some painting technique brochures at Ace, and am intrigued and psyched...but will do nothing until I'm employed. Really! I promise!!! :)
