More just scary busy. :-) Without a menu plan, my family would be reduced to either eating at midnight each night or grazing on whatever random food item happened to be in the cupboard -- and I'm not nearly as skilled at fried cheese as you.

With the exception of the things I don't eat... it all sounds really nice.

My prep still hasn't come anywhere near up to par, but I am at last now making sure I have the basics in my house (meats, veggies, starches) so that I don't have to make a run to the store before each meal.

Any small amount of "less work" is still less work.

What things don't you eat? The seafood?

yup, the seafood. And aspargus. And mango. But the latter two aren't a hard rule.

Happily, while I am not doing so hot this week, I did at least have a rough concept of a plan, and had prepped Thursday's corned beef in the crock pot the night before. The munchkin ate zero of it, so there's even more for leftovers tonight.
