what was fiddly about the Salmon? Note that I neither eat it nor cook it, but my SIL made some this weekend for the collective family visit (she and her kid are on a super restrictive diet and couldn't have what the rest of us did). Seemed fairly easy. Salmon skin side down on a tray in the oven, covered with perhaps honey and some herb (I don't recall what). Bake until done. Eat.
Salmon steaks have more bones than I generally care to deal with. Fillets are okay, but you can't get the same heft from a fillet that you can from a steak.
