I didn't get in to grad school. And I'm surprisingly not that upset. I'm going to spend this week (mostly friday) figuring out where I'm going to be moving this summer. Which means I'm going to try to find a job in Seattle or LA. Because I apparently love both those cities.

Well, I'm 90% disappointed for you. The other 10% is excited that you may come to Seattle! My percentages may be off too... I won't harp on how luvly our city is, or how great the culture is, or that we have the perfect weather for Faire or anything like that. Really, I won't. Well, okay I'll mention it just this once.

Hey, I cut my hair too! And it is shorter than yours. I kept two long braids in the back and will be dying them either purple or red or both. :o) I haven't seen you in fringe in forever. I may still have the photo even. :o)

I do love "your" city. It's definitely at the top of my list. And uh, how would you guys feel about me coming over all the time. Becuase you know I would. This is going to be a hard decision...awesome city with my best friend, or awesome city with my sister. Decisions, decisions...

Do you only ever get one chance to apply to grad school, or are you only planning on having given them that one chance to accept you?

I love that you put it that way. And no, I'm not planning on giving them one chance. But I do need to get out of the south this summer. I gave myself one year to live here after OU, and that year is over. So it looks like I'm moving to LA and probably being a nanny for a year while I apply again (and to other schools and programs) or find a job I love.
