The show monday night was AWESOME!! Tarantula AD was fucking awesome. I got one of their cd's from the merch table...very very good stuff...They said they're going to try to come down this way again sometime in november after the release of their next album. I highly suggest you check out these guys

I know money and work is the main thing that keeps people from showing. Knowing the size of Charlotte's 'scene', I was also surprised with the small turnout.

I sooooooooooo wish I could have been there, it's killing me I'm missing out on all the good shows this week! I'm glad that Rasputina was as awesome as ever!

Speaking for Me..

Most of the Bands I'd like to see tend to come on a weeknight (Genitortures/CombiChrist for example!!). When you work 1st shift - 6:00 am comes very early when your favorite band didn't take the stage until 11:00 pm. A lot of people around here have to make this choice. Venues won't book the "alternative" bands very often on the weekends and going out during the week is incredibily hard for a lot of people. That's just my .02 cents anyhow.. :)! -Mystrys

I mean yea the performance times here do suck ass... I mean take me for instance... I had to leave before Rasputina came on because they went on so late. This is a trend that spreads itself through the scene.

Also money is a big issue with a lot of people as well. Times suck right now.
