I've actually been kicking around the idea of this pairing for various reasons; I LOVE this. :D

he's got twice her experience and at least half her share of flaws but perhaps that's the best thing about him

I bookmarked the link from the ME comm, but only just got around to reading this. And wow... so well done. I never would've considered this pairing, but you made it work beautifully and it felt so in character for both of them. I appreciated that you never glossed over how difficult the situation is; that really made it feel solid. Such fantastic writing, thanks for sharing!
