it's not a secret; why do you keep it?

It was so fucking beautiful today. I went over to the Cambridgeside mall after work, in search of affordable jeans (which I found--thank you again, hermionesviolin <3). It's really pretty over there. I need to get around more.

It's been a lovely week in general; too bad that it's supposed to rain all weekend, while I travel around like a crazy person. Oh ( Read more... )

congrats on the guitar class (officially)! and I will officially tell you which mystery musics I especially like, as soon as my exams are over and I have half an ear to listen to it with.

*laughs* No rush, obviously . . . glad to see you're still breathing. Keep at it. *hug*

(YAY, you have no idea how glad I am to hear that! When I first heard them two years ago, they were like, instant favorite band. There is so much more where that comes from, bwaha.)

Where did you get affordable jeans at Cambridgeside? Inquiring minds want to know.

It's relative, I suppose, but I went to Sears. :) Since there doesn't appear to be a JC Penny's in the entire metropolitan area.

I bought a poncho, today! It is very large. Possibly large enough for two people, which may be a distinct bonus. I am bringing it AND an umbrella. Unless TSA takes my umbrella away.

Yeah, I'm kind of scared of my poncho. It's staying in its packaging for now. ;p I have an umbrella too, though not a particularly large one.

We will be all kinds of prepared! I think. *making a list*

I'm so glad you had success at Sears :)

Did I know you did guitar?

I've been here two and a half years and I totally don't wanna do job searching (or apartment hunting, for that matter) again any time soon :)

Yeah, I totally know where I'm going to do all my non-thrift shopping now. ^^; The stores in Cambridgeside are way more for me than Downtown Crossing.

Well, I don't, yet. :) The guitar was a Christmas present in high school, but I got in maybe three or four lessons before my dad had this big fight with my (admittedly very weird) instructor, and it's languished ever since. Taking it up again has been on my to-do list ever since, but you know how that goes.

So, I'm taking "Intensive Beginning Guitar" at the CCAE, and seeing how it goes from there. But I've always really wanted to play, so hopefully it'll go well and I'll keep it up. (Maybe sign up for more traditional lessons or something.)

I'm not sure I'll ever really want to do any of that again . . . but I definitely want a different job, and not years and years down the road. So I'm gonna have to suck it up. Just . . . not yet. ^^;
