Homemade pizza is the bestest thing ever. Or it will be when it comes out of the oven. OM NOM NOM!!!

Not raining today, but rather colder than it was yesterday. For once I'm looking forward to the return of warm weather, but given how warm the winter has been so far, I know we're in for a few more months of it, and it'll probably be more violent than normal.

Hooray for climate change.

It figures that the one day it's over 40F, it's also raining. Oh, well. Plenty of sewing to keep me busy, assuming my injured finger is up to the task.

For some reason it amuses me to see a spike in my Flickr stats and realize that a long hair fetish forum found some of my pics. Proof that, no matter what the intended purpose was or how little the picture shows, someone somewhere will enjoy it in a way you never anticipated.

The best thing about Birka was knowing that people appreciated and valued me for who I really am -- not some idiot's idea of who I should be. It's always nice to be reminded that I was a good person to begin with.

Now, how many pairs of spats can I make before I get whisked off to dinner tonight?

My unplanned trip to Birka was fun. I didn't run into any undesireables, I taught a lot of folks about spinning, I sketched out a floor loom schematic for an appreciative pirate, and I didn't murder any of the sticky-handed brats who took over the A&S room.
