This is one of the most beautiful pieces of writing I have ever read. Everything about it: the syntax, the word choices, it's all so beautiful. I wish I had more to say, but I'm just shocked. I needed to read something like that. Very powerful.

I think that may be the nicest thing anyone's ever said about my writing. I'm really glad you enjoyed it. Thank you.

Great story, I loved it. There's not enough Trapper/Hawkeye stories.
Don't take me wrong, I love BJ to bits... but he's not Trapper and never will be.
And really, that explains everything. BJ is like a watered down version of Trapper, just like California is the watered down version of Boston.
And that's it.
Thank you for writing this<3.

Aw. You're welcome honey. I'm a North-East girl myself (Jersey) so I have a deep loyalty to Boston. And I love Trapper, much more than BJ, so he gets more love.

I went searching for some Trapper/Hawkeye, not believing I'd actually find anything. Then I found this, and I really don't need to look anymore because this satisfies everything. Thanks for writing it!

Aw. That's a huge compliment, really, considering there's at least a hundred other fics on Hawkeye and Trapper. (And there's no smut.) I'm so glad you like it. Thank you!

Thank you for posting this. Your writing is strong and concise: the story packs a punch and each word has purpose. I was looking for the sort of story that would stay in the back of my mind for days, and I found it.

Thank you, knowing that it's stayed with you for days makes me very happy. I think that's what all writers want, really.
