How could Daniel know a nurse in WORLD WAR II??? That was only 8-9 yrs before the present story? Was he a war doctor(or wouldn't he be too old?) or did you mean WW I -which would have made more sense if Hawkeye is like 30.
Secondly-there was a generation between the two world wars-24 yrs(In America), 22 yrs in Europe. That was more than enough time for children born after the war to be young adults during WWII.
Anyway-didn't mean to be nitpicky, but when something is this good you want it to be PERFECT!!

2. You're right about the generation gap, but I think that going from the age of 18 to the age of 40 doesn't really change the enlistment factor. I mean, 40 year olds weren't getting drafted (or the were, but they don't talk about it), but they could still enlist.
Thanks for point this out. I'm really glad you liked the story, and I'll probably go back and change the generation hint at some point :)
