Gosh, this is so good! I can picture it all happening like this, Dumbledore having to give in to fight against the man he was in love with, his "soul mate."

The Fabian/Dearborn bit was a nice touch here. I'm sure Dumbledore would've liked to have been "out" too but it's understandable why he wasn't.

“Everyone falls in love, Fabian Prewett,” he reminded the younger man, his hand moving from the wand holster to grasp the pocket watch in his left breast pocket. “Sometimes it is with the right woman and sometimes it is with the wrong man.
LOVE that line.

Great chapter.

I'm a huge believer in Fabian/Dearborn, though I'm probably their only shipper in existence. So I felt as though it was necessary to include them somewhere.

And that line just came out so easily. I love when that happens. I'm glad you're enjoying this :)

It is my fanon that Gellert had a greater affinity to magical creatures than Albus, Durmstrang was a smaller school with larger grounds, wild, mountains and lakes. Harry had the impression that Gellert was rather bird-like in his movements, perched on the window.
