Definition: Statements that give insight into the impressionable six year old mind

I love my little sister more and more. I love my parents less and less.

When I was six I did the math and announced with great gusto to my 50-year-old mother that she was half-a-century old! This news was not greeted with the enthusiasm for my math skills that I expected. :-P

The upshot is, of course, that mother has waited 44 years to be able to make the same pronouncement about me, which she can this June, btw. :-D
