Sorry for the lack of updates. Things were so chaotic that Frank has hardly had time to update. In fact, he wrote a
post in his journal (friends only) explaining why.
On Monday, Melody turned one month old. Since the last time I wrote, we've had a visit from BVC at home (despite still not really being home), and 2 trips to vårdcentral. So far, Melody seems to be going good. In case you're wondering, here's how our baby is progressing:

The next appointment is set for Tuesday--hopefully I'll be able to attend.
One of the problems the Youngling has is that she has a poor stomach ache. Earlier this month, we had to buy a special flow bottle to prevent colic (with some advice from
cockermom). I think it has helped quite a bit, though she rarely finishes the whole bottle. It's not that we're giving her too much (usually). For the most part, we've given her 90ml/3 oz* for her meals and she'll stop halfway and refuse to eat. Sometimes burping helps, sometimes she just falls asleep. We've had to switch to a milder formula and even use minifom drops before meals. Then, there are times when she'll drink the whole 120ml/4oz* bottle. I hope she gets better.
* measured in US ounces. Don't ask me for UK oz. Also, measuring is approximate, within 20ml.
The other problem we've had lately is in the matter of sleep. This week was the worst. She did not like her cradle. She would absolutely refuse to sleep in her cradle, no matter what we tried. If we were lucky, she would sleep 30 minutes. Not good. So, last night, I tried something. I tried her baby carriage, but she would wake up on the way there. But, then I thought about moving it to the living room (as I was in the middle of a WoW quest) as an experiment, and she stayed asleep for about 5 hrs. Needless to say, I fell asleep before she woke up, and Helena took over when she woke up. I guess she is more comfortable with the carriage, since she's been, more or less, sleeping in it since leaving the hospital. Right now, she's sleeping in it again, though she may wake up at any time. At least the future of letting her sleep outside in it and pushing the carriage for walks around here sounds promising. As to the cradle, what to do with it is another question.
I know that everyone is screaming for pictures, and I hope to post some pictures online by this weekend. It has been too crazy around here to even think about pictures, let alone livejournal.
